Sustainable Heating

Champion’s new Heat Recovery feature is available on 2 tank flight machines. A low profile design placed on top of machine and easy to clean, the Heat recovery feature increases incoming water temperature from 60F to 110F. Champion’s new Heat recovery system is of great interest to not only foodservice consultants, but to environmentally savvy clients.
How We Do It
Heat and condensate from the exit end of the machine is pulled through a heating coil by corrosion resistant composite fans. Cold water enters the coil; as the water moves through the coil it picks up heat. Steam extraction using two fans – when wash pumps engage, the first fan starts and draws steam. Then, the second fan starts when final rinse starts. The fan is set to the final rinse timer. So the fans pull the heat through the coil and vent into the pant leg exhaust.
“TempSure”
- Designed to compensate for low water temperature during idle time.
- Hot water feed will assist booster to ensure 110F temperature.
- Boosts water to 180F + final rinse temp.
